[53] "Giant Idiotic Truckload"

I've sat here for the better part of 4 hours trying to word much of anything to make this post, as while I can eventually knead thin my weekly accomplishments to where a post can be made, process length is dependent on the amount of source material being worked.

This week pertains to Git, and by extension Github, as well as downloading a new emulator to be more certain whether or not a quirk of the emulator is at fault for a given problem.

While I think I successfully created a local repository, I'm not adept at managing it, nor have I pushed it as a public Github repository.

The new emulator in question is a fork of the original Nestopia, the so-called "Undead Edition". Nestopia supposedly has timing accuracy as a main selling point, which seems to be the main point of contention for my recent problems, so I'll see how that pans out.

Upon trying it out, though, the ROM data it gathered from my latest build, made me a bit confused:

I'd like to bring attention to the "Solder Pad" section specifically here. Either I accidentally set the ROM header to horizontal mirroring, or V:0 actually means that vertical mirroring is turned on for some reason (which is what it should be set to). Though this is a problem for future me to solve. For now, and likely over the weekend, I'll probably become more familiar with Git and how it operates, so I can enter the next week more smoothly than I likely would otherwise.
