Even more preoccupied this week, so I'll begrudgingly show what little I had time to finish.

I spent time on the cave, so that's what I'll be showing.

I'd like two rooms for the cave, with the 2nd being much narrower, where smaller things are supposedly kept, like tools and the like. The problem with the current cave is that there are no ways to expand it, as it's closed off. I fixed this by just removing a part in the side.

I merged a few vertices to remove some of the seam made from the fact that the ceiling and floor were originally two meshes.

ree

It took a bit of tinkering, but I was able to make a 2nd room I'm half satisfied with using only a single starting plane, of the same size as the ones used on the first room.

ree

Some of the techniques used here I found by accident. I like the way the bending of the verts gives the effect of organic stretching and natural ceiling striations and whatnot.

it looks as if someone pulled a beehive like taffy.

ree

While this is the 2nd room, I've yet to connect the two parts into a single contiguous unit.

Finally, going back to the 1st room, I've popped a hole in the ceiling.

Yolle is supposed to speak with you while peering down near the rope at the start, so extruding out the edges like this might give some much needed depth to the perforation.

ree

That's it for this week. I can't promise whether or not I'll be able to output more than this next week, because I'm preparing for a camping trip that will eat up next Tuesday and Wednesday (and presumably Monday for packing), so I won't say anything beyond that.
