My brain isn't in a working mood to make a verbose or well-structured post, nor do I have the time to make one

This week focused on music. It also continues the theme of an inability to either make melodies that fit the rest of the track, or a good instrument that would go well with an otherwise fine melody.

I have two pieces of media to show, and one of them I put significantly more time into.

I'll show the latter first (put at like half volume, as this one is normalized and already loud):

I put little thought into the sample choice or alignment, as I simply wanted to make a

melody and instrument that can fit well into a track. Though for every section of this I made, I continually failed to do so.

(This one contains a mistake where I forgot to disable a sample, so there's an extra dial tone at the beginning of their normal spot which shouldn't be there. I don't want to render another fixed version, though)

At some point I asked Vives to make a melody I could use. This alleviate the problem of not knowing if a a melody I created would be varied and good enough to use for the kind of thing I want.

I spent more time on this one, but I again failed to work that melody in anywhere. By extension of spending more time, I'm more proud of this one

I did find a melody (with an instrument that sounds well) in my sample library somewhere.

I used it, and it doesn't sound terrible. I feel better knowing the fact that it's possible to work a piano-type instrument into this track specifically.

In any case, I can't use it without heavy alterations, as it's currently too populated with... stuff.
